Minecraft Beta Update Today, March 4 Snapshot 1.16.220.50- Patch Notes

Minecraft Beta has received a new update today which brings quite a number of new features to the game. The developers are gearing up for the Caves and Cliffs Update which is slated to release afterward this twelvemonth. The update introduces a plethora of new mountain sub-biomes including  Lofty Peaks, Snow Capped Peaks, Snowy Slopes, and many more than. The initial impressions of the update look quite promising and the community is already eagerly looking forward to trying out the experimental features.

Mountains

  • Tweaked the visual shape of Pointed Dripstone to match Java
  • Crouching while placing pointed dripstone prevents the opposing stalactite and stalagmite to merge
  • Standing on a Stalagmite and jumping will cause half heart autumn damage when landing
  • Pointed Dripstone at present has the right hitbox
  • Pointed Dripstone blocks are no longer destroyed past flowing lava
  • Pointed Dripstone now has the correct size and rotation when held in manus

  • Added Tags to enumerate all congenital-in tags
  • Updated all methods that took x, y, z position to take a BlockPos
  • Exposed padding when registering game test
  • Fixed effect where previous failed GameTest markers still evidence up in new worlds

Movement prediction

  • Fixed projectiles on 3rd-party servers ignoring server movement packets
